神奈川・厚木市の自動車展示場のモニュメント「スーパーグリッド」。一つのユニットは約15m四方の立方体で、スチールのスペースフレームがアルミパンチングメタルのスクリーンで覆われています。昼間は光が透過し絹のような輝きを見せ、夜間はライトアップされて銀色に光ります。このスーパーグリッドは将来計画のインドア展示場の建物のための基本フレームとしてデザインされています。
“Super Grid” is a monument of an automobile pavilion at Atsugi-city, Kanagawa. About 15 meter square cubic unit is made of steel framework and aluminum perforated metal screen. The surface of the cube filters lights and produces silk-like sparkles during the daytime, while twinkles by illumination at night. The Super Grid is designed as the basic frame of the exhibiting hall planed to be built in prospective.
